The Freshchat messenger can be used to deliver a conversational messaging experience for your customers on your website. You can use the same Freshchat account across multiple websites.


If you want to carry over your customer's login information across multiple pages, you will need to declare a unique site ID for each of these pages and include this in the messenger embed code in these websites. Learn more here.

  • When a customer pings you from different websites with the same site ID, each conversation from the same website will be treated as a continuous conversation respectively.
  • When a customer pings you from different websites with different site IDs, each conversation/user from the different websites will be treated as a different user/conversation.
