The Contacts tab displays the list of customers in your account. You can create new customer contacts and manage existing contacts. For a general overview of the mobile app, see using the mobile app.
The contacts tab is currently visible only in the Android app. The iOS update is coming soon.
Note: The contacts visible in your mobile app are customer contacts added at an account level. This means you will not only see the contacts you added but also see contacts added by other users.
This article contains the following sections:
Viewing Contacts
- Click on the Contacts tab and select a contact.
- When you click on a contact, you will see the following screen:
- You can see the contact details, such as name, phone numbers, company name, and email address.
- Under Recent Calls, you can see the last 10 calls dialed or received from this number along with the call type (for example, missed, abandoned, voicemail, etc..)
- To make a call, click on the number or click on the call button. For more details, see using the mobile app.
Searching Contacts
You can search for a contact using the customer's name or company name.
- To search for a customer, enter the customer name in the search box.
- To search for a company name, enter the company name. You will see all the customers associated with the company.
- To make a call, click on the contact. For more details, see using the mobile app.
Adding New Contacts
To add a new contact:
- Click on the Contacts tab and tap on the plus icon at the top right corner.
- Enter the name, phone number, email address, and company name. To add multiple phone numbers, click on the Add number option.
When you enter the company name, you will see suggestions on existing company names in your account. You can select an existing company or create a new company.
Saving Unknown Number
When you receive a call from an unknown number, the phone number is automatically saved in your account. You can then save the number as a new contact or add it to an existing contact.
The unknown number is visible under My Calls or All Calls tab.
- Select the unsaved number and click Add to Contacts. You can choose to save the number to an existing contact or add it as a new contact.
- To save the number as a new contact, click Create New Contact.
- Enter the name, phone number, email address, and company name. To add multiple phone numbers, click on the Add number option.
- To save the number to an existing contact, click Add to Existing Contact.
- Search and select the contact you want to add the unknown number as an additional phone number.
- Click on Save.
