Deploy Your Freddy AI Agents

Freddy AI Agents can be mapped to various channels like web widgets and social media platforms, ensuring your customers receive the support they need when they need it.

Map Your AI Agent to Web Widget

To allow your AI Agent to engage with customers directly on your website, you must map it to a web widget. Depending on whether your web widget and topics are already configured, the steps vary.

Case 1: If Topics and Web Widget Are Already Configured

If your web widgets are already set up, follow these steps:

  1. Click Map to a Channel within the Freddy AI Agent Builder.
  2. Go to the Bot Mappings tab and map the AI Agent to the topic.
    1. If Bot Mappings is not available for your SKU, click on Go to Topic Preferences on the bottom left of your screen.

    2. Click your preferred topic that is already mapped to your widget.
    3. Enable the Trigger a Bot configuration, and map your AI Agent to the topic.


  1. Go back to Admin Settings > Web Chat and click on the widget you want to deploy.
  2. Copy the widget script by clicking on Embed code tab. Add this code to your website’s HTML to embed the widget and complete the setup.

This will immediately link your AI Agent to the chosen topic, allowing the bot to handle customer interactions based on the queries routed through that topic.

Case 2: If Web Widget Is Not Configured

If the web widget is not yet configured for your account, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Admin Settings > Web Chat Topics, and create a new topic.
  2. Map the AI Agent to the new topic you’ve created from the dropdown provided.
  3. Go to Web Chat > Select Widget > Content tab and map the new topic and unmap any non-required topics.
  4. Preview the widget settings and go to the Embed Code tab to copy the script. 
  5. Add this code to your website’s HTML to embed the widget and complete the setup.

           

By following these steps, your AI Agent will be ready to interact with customers through the web widget.


Map Your AI Agent to Social Channels

Deploying your Freddy AI Agent on social channels like Facebook and Instagram helps extend your support to where your customers spend time. Here’s how:

  1. Navigate to Admin Settings > Chat Channels.
  2. Select the desired platform (e.g., Facebook Messenger or Instagram) from the list.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process and map the AI Agent to the social channel.


Once completed, your Freddy AI Agent will be live on the selected platform, ready to handle inquiries in real-time.


Deploy Your Chatbots


Deploying chatbots effectively enables you to engage with customers directly, ensuring their queries are resolved efficiently on various channels, including your website and social media platforms.

Map Your Chatbots to Web Widget

To deploy your chatbot on your website, you need to map it to the web widget. 

Case 1: If Web Widget is Already Configured

If your web widget and topics are already configured, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the chatbot is in Published mode. If it isn’t, click Publish in the bot builder.
  2. Click Deploy in the bot builder, which will take you to the Topics page.
  3. Map the chatbot to the relevant topic similar to Freddy AI Agent.


This will instantly connect your chatbot to your web widget, allowing it to interact with visitors based on the preconfigured topics.

Case 2: If Web Widget Is Not Configured

If the web widget is not set up, follow the same instructions as mentioned for Freddy AI Agent.

By embedding the widget, your chatbot becomes live on your website, ready to manage customer interactions efficiently.


Map Your Chatbots to Social Channels

You can also deploy your chatbot on social media platforms to reach customers where they are most active by following the same instructions as mentioned for Freddy AI Agents.


By completing this setup, your chatbot will be ready to handle customer inquiries across your chosen social media platforms, providing seamless support.
