An Internet Protocol (IP) address is a unique numerical address that defines a location. Freshworks CRM allows you to buy a dedicated IP address as an add-on through which all your emails can be routed.
What are the benefits of owning a dedicated IP address?
As a user of Freshworks CRM, any email you send through the system is carried over an IP address that is shared among all clients of Freshworks CRM. To improve deliverability rates for your marketing and transactional emails, it is strongly recommended that you set up a dedicated outbound IP address which will be registered to your organization and allows you complete control over your IP reputation. This in turn will lead to higher email deliverability rates.
How to purchase a dedicated IP address in Freshworks CRM?
Fresworks CRM offers dedicated IP addresses as an add-on. This add-on is automatically included in your next subscription renewal.
To purchase your add-on, please follow these steps:
Go to Admin Settings > Plans and Billing. This opens the dedicated page where you can manage your plans.
Click Manage Plans. This takes you to the plans and billings page.
Scroll down to Dedicated IP Addresses and select the checkbox
Configure the number of IP addresses you would like to buy. Your pricing would be calculated accordingly.
Click . You will be take to the payments page where you can complete your payment.
Once your payment is completed, you will receive an email confirming the same and Freshworks CRM will initiate the process of warming up your dedicated IP address. The IP Address(s) will be set up and granted in 3-5 business days.
