Freshworks CRM mobile app allows you to confirm your presence for a sales activity such as a lunch meeting or a quick coffee with a prospect and keeps your team in the loop as well using the check-in feature.

With the check-out feature, a sales rep can check-out from the meeting place with the customer where they had checked-in. This way Managers can track the duration of the visit and also generate reports using the check-out data.

How to enable check-in and check-out for an appointment or sales activity? 

To enable check-in and check-out,

  1. Go to Admin Settings > Sales Activities

  2. Click the Create Activity button  

  3. Select the checkbox “Allow sales reps to check-in and check-out from the Freshworks CRM mobile app (Android and iOS)”

  4. Click Save.

How do I check-in and check-out from an appointment or sales activity?

To check-in and check-out,

  1. Check-in and Check-out from the sales activity card

    1. Go to Freshworks CRM mobile app and on the home screen, click the check-in button near the sales activity card.

  1. Once you have checked-in, click the check-out button below the sales activity card where you have already checked-in.

  1. Check-in and Check-out from the calendar

    1. Click on the Monthly view button near the calendar

    2. Click on a date that has a sales activity

    3. Click the check in button

  1. Once you have checked-in, click the check-out button

  1. Check-in and Check-out from the Activities Tab

    1. In the activities tab on the details page of a record, say contacts, click on the meeting

  1. In the sales activity screen, click on the Check in button

  1. Once the meeting or sales activity has concluded, click the Check out button to check-out.

You will now be able to see the check-out location, check-out date and time, and the time spent in the appointment or sales activity.

If you have allowed notification permissions for Freshworks CRM mobile app using your phone settings, you would be reminded to check-out 10 minutes before the end time of your appointment or sales activity.

Location permissions

The sales activity is checked-in with the current location of the salesperson. If you deny Freshworks CRM from accessing the device’s location, the app will prompt you to allow location access.
