To pace up any sale transaction and push contacts to deal closure, intense and active follow-up is mandatory. To save periodic checks of your tasks, important feature alerts, and their due dates, use the notifications icon.



Find all notifications that you have opted for on the notifications settings page, reminding you to complete them. Every user-related notification is listed here.


To set notifications,

  1. Go to Profile icon > Settings > Notifications. Alternatively, click the Notifications icon > Settings > More settings

  1. On the notifications tab, you can configure the following settings:

    1. Email Alerts: Email notifications when records are assigned and more.

    1. Daily Email Digest: 

  • Email summary of records assigned or transferred.

  • Assigning/ Transferring ownership: All contact/account/deal assignment or transfer for the day is collated and sent as a single mail at 12 AM daily.


    1. Assignment Notifications: Notification settings for when a record, task, meeting, or sales activity is assigned to you.

    2. Reminders (in the web application and by Email): 

  • All your tasks, meetings, sales activities and upcoming email reminders are sent via email and are also listed in the desktop (in web) notifications.

  • Select the checkbox beside 'Get Reminders' to receive alerts, a few mins before the scheduled time for all your activities.

    1. Email tracking notifications: Notifications based on recipient behavior. All email opens, clicks, and replies are displayed based on the checkboxes that are enabled.



    2. Chat Notifications: Notifications when chat conversation is initiated or is assigned to you or to a group you are part of or even when the customer sends you a chat message.



  1. Click Save


Desktop Notifications (In the web application) appear at the top right corner as red bubble alerts indicating the number of new notifications. To configure desktop notifications,


Click the Notifications icon > Settings > Enable desktop notifications. On the browser pop-up, click Allow.

 

Note: 
1) The notifications are specific to each user.

2) Some notifications which might help improve your productivity are set as mandatory notifications.

3) The number of unread notifications appears over the notifications icon in Red.

4) The unread notifications come with a slightly Grey background.

5) You are also notified through email if a task is deleted.

6) Mark all as read option lets you tag all the notifications present then as read.

 

These notifications accommodate these three aspects:

  • Choice: It is left to the user’s choice to decide what they wish to be notified on. This saves the user from being annoyed by unwanted notifications.

  • Relevance: As the users are given the option of choosing, the problem of being spammed with irrelevant notifications is solved.

  • Action-oriented alerts: When you click a particular notification, it lands on the corresponding page, where you can go ahead and respond accordingly.
