Freddy AI Agents play a crucial role in automating customer interactions, but over time, businesses may accumulate unused or outdated bots.
To enhance performance and declutter the workspace, Freddy AI provides the ability to archive bots that are no longer actively used. This feature helps admins manage their bot inventory efficiently while retaining the flexibility to restore bots within a set timeframe.
Note: This feature is being released in phases across regions.

Key considerations
- Data retention: Archived bots are stored for 30 days before permanent deletion.
After 30 days, conversation logs, bot flows, and metadata are permanently deleted. Analytics and conversations in Chat remain unaffected. - Performance impact: Archived bots are excluded from the main view, improving page load times and workspace organization.
- Access and permissions: Archived bots can be accessed and restored by anyone with bot access permissions (admins, agents).
- Analytics and reporting: Archived bots’ conversations are still included in AI agent performance reports. Ensure the Archived filter is applied in Analytics for accurate reporting.
