Send an email to numbers@freshcaller.com to know if we provide porting in your country.

NOTE: Porting process may take 4-6 weeks and requires coordination between your current carrier and Freshcaller.

This article provides the process and information required for initiating the porting process for US numbers and porting numbers from your existing Twilio account in the countries mentioned above:

Note: The number charges are separate from porting charges. Once the numbers are ported, you will be charged for the numbers per month. For more information, check our number charges.

Porting US numbers

If you already have a US number, you can port the numbers from:

  • Google voice

  • Other service providers

Porting from Google voice

To port your Google Voice number (US) to Freshcaller, follow these steps:

  1. Fill out the LOA form: https://www.twilio.com/resources/docs/Letter_of_Authorization.pdf

  2. Send a screenshot of your Google account that shows your number has been unlocked.

  3. Send a screenshot of your Google Voice account, and make sure the first and last name in the Letter of Authorization match and your Google account is the same.

  4. To initiate the porting process, send all the details to numbers@freshcaller.com.
If you face any problems during this process you can always reach out to our support team using the same email address.

Porting from other service providers

To port your US number from your existing service provider to Freshcaller:

  1. Send an email to numbers@freshcaller.com with a request for number porting.

  2. You will be requested to fill an LOA form and send your billing statement for the previous month to numbers@freshcaller.com.

  3. After the document verification, we will add the number to your Freshcaller and inform you once the porting date is scheduled.

  4. We will let you know once the porting process is completed, after which you can use the number within Freshcaller.

  5. In case of an information mismatch, the porting process will be rejected. In such a scenario we will get back to you with the details and you can make changes accordingly.

Note: This porting process is applicable for US numbers only. To know the porting requirements for other countries mentioned in the table above, contact us at numbers@freshcaller.com.
