Managing a bot’s training data can be challenging, especially when outdated or irrelevant URLs impact response accuracy. Admins can now disable or remove outdated and irrelevant URLs from knowledge sources, ensuring precise control over knowledge sources and retaining only accurate, relevant information for improved bot responses.

Remove URLs from AI Agent learning

The feature allows admins to block or disable specific child URLs at a source level. Once a URL is blocked, all pages within the same URL path are excluded from the bot’s training data. Here's how you can set it up,

  1. As an admin, navigate to AI Agents and Chatbots and select your AI Agent.
  2. In your bot configuration, click Configure > Knowledge Source Settings > URLs > Manage URLs link.
  3. A list of all the visited website URLs, including their Learning Status and URL Content will be displayed.
  4. Select the checkbox next to each URL you want to remove, and click Remove URLs from Learning.
  5. Confirm the action in the pop-up by selecting Remove URLs.

The changes update the knowledge sources that the AI Agent uses to answer customer queries.


Note: If you resync your website or URL, the AI Agent will retain the deleted URLs and will not consider them as a source of knowledge when responding to customer inquiries.

Restore removed URLs

If you've removed a URL but later decide to restore it - perhaps because you've updated or corrected the content - here's how you can do it,

  1. Go to the URL List page and click Removed URLs to open the overlay showing disabled URLs.
  2. Select the checkbox next to the URL(s) you want to restore.
  3. Click Restore URLs and confirm in the pop-up.
Note: Restored URLs will retain the same learning status they had at the time of removal.

The selected URLs will now be reintegrated into the AI Agent's training data, allowing the bot to reference and learn from the updated content.
