The Travelport app for Freshchat empowers your agents to seamlessly access and manage flight and ticket bookings directly within the conversation inbox. This eliminates the need for agents to switch between applications, saving valuable time and improving customer service efficiency.

Note: The term Freshchat used in this article also applies to the Customer Service Suite product.


Prerequisites:

  • Ensure that you have admin permissions in Freshchat.
  •  Ensure you have a valid username and password for your Travelport account.

Install the app

  1. Log in to your account, go to Admin Settings > Marketplace and Integrations > Marketplace Apps.
  2. Search for the Travelport App and click Install.
  3. Enter your Travelport username and password, and click Authenticate account.

Use the app

Once the installation is complete and the app is installed, you can view the Travelport widget within the Conversation Inbox.


To use the widget:

  1. On the Conversation Inbox, click on the Travelport widget to expand.
  2. To search for a booking, enter the Passenger Name Record (PNR) number and click Search.
  3. The app retrieves the associated flight and/or hotel bookings for the PNR.
  4. Click on a specific booking to view detailed information. You can view the itinerary, passengers, seats, add-ons, special requests, payment details, and policies.
