Introduction
This integration provides a seamless connection between Appstle Loyalty and Rewards and Freshchat, significantly enhancing customer support operations. It enables support agents to directly access and manage a customer's loyalty points and coupons within the Freshchat Team Inbox, thereby eliminating the need for platform-switching and markedly improving response efficiency.
How Does the Integration Work?
When customers contact support through any channel, the Appstle app widget within Freshchat automatically displays the customer's current points, pending points, and the most recent coupon, along with their respective histories.
How to Install the App?
In Freshchat, go to Admin settings and select "Marketplace Apps" under Integrations.
Search for and select the Appstle Loyalty and Rewards app.
Click ‘Install’ and enter your Appstle API key, then click ‘Authenticate’.
[To find your API key, log in to your Shopify store, go to Apps > ‘Appstle℠ Loyalty & Rewards’ > Integrations > API. Copy the API key.]Once authenticated, confirm the installation.
The app widget will be automatically enabled in the Team Inbox.
How to Access the App in Team Inbox?
In any conversation within the Team Inbox, find the Appstle Loyalty and Rewards app in the right or 3rd pane.
Rearrange the app placement as desired using the rearrange option.
The app will dynamically fetch and display the customer's points and coupon history from Shopify.
How to Give Points?
Use the ‘Give Points’ option at the bottom of the widget to add points to a customer's loyalty account.
Enter the points and reason in the pop-up window, which also shows the customer's available points.
Confirm by selecting ‘Add point’.
How to Redeem Points for Discounts?
Utilize the 'Redeem' option under Current Points in the widget.
After clicking ‘Redeem’, choose a Rewards Rule and confirm the points to be redeemed.
How to View Coupon History?
To review a customer's coupon history, select ‘View history’ next to the Last created coupon. This displays a detailed list of the customer's coupons, including codes, dates, and points used.
How to Track Points History?
The widget lists recent reward points by default. For a comprehensive view, click ‘View all’ next to Rewards to see a complete history of rewards, both used and unused, including dates and points.
