Prerequisites
Ensure that you have the following to get started with KakaoTalk for Freshchat:
- KakaoTalk Business Channel and associated credentials
- Sender Key: Contact support@wedosoft.net with your KakaoTalk Channel ID and they'll fetch the key from their backend.
- Consumption-Based Billing Process Alignment: Since KakaoTalk has consumption-based charges, We Do Soft will raise monthly invoices with a Net15 payment cycle. Contact support@wedosoft.net with your billing information.
Install the KakaoTalk app
To install the KakaoTalk app:
- Login to Freshchat as an admin. Go to Admin Settings > Marketplace and Integrations > Marketplace Apps.
- Search for "KakaoTalk Integration".
- Click Try for free and then click Install.
- On the configuration page, provided the requested details.
- Freshchat credentials: Under the APIs for Conversations section, provide your App ID in the URL field and your API Key in the API Key field.
- KakaoTalk credentials: Provide your Kakao_Account_Id in the Account ID / Business ID field and Kakao_Sender_Key in the Sender Key field.

Kakao_Sender_Key Sender_Key ID for the Kakao Channel chat entity / user. - Channel and Group: In the Channel and Group dropdowns, select a topic and group to use in KakaoTalk conversations.
- Freshchat credentials: Under the APIs for Conversations section, provide your App ID in the URL field and your API Key in the API Key field.
- After completing installation, contact support@wedosoft.netfor backend approval.
- We Do Soft will approve your account by verifying your invoice details.
- After that, your KakaoTalk—Freshchat integration is ready to use.
