Social media marketing helps brands generate brand awareness, build relationships with their audience, and keep them engaged. In this article, we’ll cover how you can create and publish social media posts from within the CRM. Before you start, make sure you’ve connected your Facebook or Instagram account. 

  1. Go to Campaigns and choose Social Media


  1. Click Create social post and choose how you want to create the post - either using Freddy or from scratch.




Creating a social post using Freddy

How to enable this feature?
You can enable this feature from the Admin Settings page.

  • Go to Admin Settings > Marketing Channels > Freddy for Marketing >  Freddy Copilot 
  • Enable the toggle on Generate social posts

  1. To use Freddy AI to create fresh and engaging social posts, click on Create using Freddy




  1. Select what your post is about and provide a brief description. 



  1. If you need help writing a prompt, click Suggest post topics at the bottom left to let Freddy generate a sample prompt for you. You can edit the sample prompt to make sure it includes all the information necessary to create your post. Every time you click Suggest post topics, Freddy generates a new sample prompt.

  2. Choose a tone for your post. You can choose to keep it playful, energetic, friendly, curious, or funny.

  3. When you’re satisfied with your prompt, click Create post.  

  4. You can post the same content on all connected pages or enable the toggle to customize it for different pages. For instance, you can keep the core message same but change the dates, hashtags, offers, or location details for each page. 



  1. If you want to make minor edits to the post generated by Freddy, just select the text you want to refine and you’ll see options to rephrase, shorten, or expand the selected text. You can also directly edit the content as needed. 


  1. If you think the generated post is not accurate enough or lacks crucial information, just click the Freddy icon to see the below screen. Here, you can share more instructions on how to generate the post by clicking Regenerate



  1. Use this text box to enter your custom prompt. This allows you to instruct Freddy in natural language, giving you the freedom to tailor your post exactly how you want it. You can give examples, specify word choices, define the emotion you want to evoke, etc. Be as specific as possible to create the perfect post.

  2. Remember to turn the toggles on if you want emojis and hashtags in your post.

  3. Now, click Regenerate.

  4. Play around with different tones, shorten or expand the text, and regenerate your post until you land your perfect content. Use the left and right arrows at the bottom left to see the previous and current suggestions.

  5. Then click Insert.

  6. Publish the post immediately or schedule it for a later time in a time zone of your choice.



  7. If you choose to post it immediately, it will be published within ten minutes on the selected social media pages.





Creating a social post from scratch 

  1. Click Create from scratch, give a name to your campaign, and then click Create.

  2. Here you can view the different pages connected to your account. Select the pages where you want to post your content.



  3. You can post the same content on all connected pages or enable the toggle to customize it for different pages. For instance, you can keep the core message the same but change the dates, hashtags, offers, or location details for each page. 



  4. Enter your post content in the description box.

  5. Add images and videos from your media gallery to make it stand out. 



  6. If the files are not already added, you can upload them to the media gallery from the previous page and continue to add them to your post.



  7. You can check how your post looks on both desktop and mobile screens using the preview on the right.



  8. Publish the post immediately or schedule it for a later time in a time zone of your choice.



  9. If you choose to post it immediately, it will be published within ten minutes on the selected social media pages.
