Mask your business phone number and use a different number to make outgoing calls. When you make an outgoing call, your customers will see the masked number as the caller id instead of the original phone number.
Login to Freshworks CRM.
Go to Admin Settings > Phone Numbers.
Hover over the number you want to mask and click on the edit icon. You will see the Number Properties tab.
Toggle the Mask Number option.
Select the caller ID to use for masking. If you do not have any caller ID, click on the New Caller ID option.
In the pop-up screen that appears, enter the phone number that you want to use for masking (with the country code), and then click Verify.
For verification, you will receive a call on the number entered. Answer the call and enter 6 digit validation code displayed on your screen.
Once the verification code is validated, the number will be visible for you to use as the caller id.
Click Save Changes.
