Cloning a record opens an overlay with the record’s data pre-filled in all the fields. To save time spent on manual data entry, Freshworks CRM allows you to edit some of the values in the fields and save the cloned record as a new record for custom modules created in the CRM.
To clone a record,
- Choose the desired custom module
- Click the More or three dots icon on the landing page of a record.
- Click Clone
4. In the clone record overlay that appears, edit the desired fields.
Note: Fields marked as unique should have different values.
