The Vamaship app is designed to streamline your shipping process by integrating Easyship's powerful features right into your Freshchat inbox.


In this guide, we'll walk you through the installation process and show you how to use the app.

Installation

  1. Enter your Vamaship API Access Token

    To find this, log into your Vamaship account and navigate to Ambassador. Here, you'll find and can copy the Ambassador API Token.

  2. Enter your Freshchat Domain and API Key

    Your Freshchat domain will look something like this: youraccount.freshchat.com. To find your API Key, log into your Freshchat account and navigate to Admin → API Settings.

  3. Choose Access Permissions

    During the installation process, you'll have the option to select which team or agent has the ability to cancel shipments. This ensures that only authorized personnel can perform this action.


Once you've completed these steps, the Vamaship app will be installed and ready to use in your Freshchat inbox.


User Flow

The Vamaship app is designed to be intuitive and easy to use. Here's how it works:

  1. Get Order Details

    To access the details of a customer's order, you'll need their Tracking ID. Once you have this, the app will automatically fetch the order details from Vamaship.

  2. View Order Information

    Each order will display the following information from Vamaship: Order ID, Shipment Status, Tracking Number, and Shipping Updates. This information is readily available in your Freshchat inbox, making it easy to keep track of each order's status.

  3. Cancel Shipment

    If necessary, agents also have the option to cancel a shipment directly from the Freshchat inbox. This feature is designed to make managing your shipments as straightforward as possible.
