Boost your customer support experience by integrating the app into your Freshchat inbox. This app provides agents with customer reviews directly within the Freshchat interface, offering valuable insights into each customer's sentiment. In this article, we'll guide you through the installation and user flow of the reviews app.

Follow these simple steps to install the reviews app in your Freshchat inbox:

  1. Navigate to the Freshchat marketplace and search for the reviews app.

  2. Click "Install" to add the app to your Freshchat account.

  3. In the app settings, enter your Private API key. You can obtain this key by going to the Admin Dashboard → Settings → API Keys → API Private Key. 

  4. Enter your Store Hash. You can find this by navigating to the Admin Dashboard → Settings → API Keys → Store Hash.

  5. Enter your Shopify URL in the format - 

  1. Click "Authenticate Account and Save" to complete the installation.

Using the app:
After successfully installing the app, follow these steps to access and use the widget in the Freshchat inbox:

  1. Open a conversation with a customer in the Freshchat inbox. 

  2. Locate the widget on the right-hand side of the inbox view. 

  3. In the widget, you'll see the following details of the customer: 

    1. Average Ratings - The average rating of all the reviews provided by the customer. This gives agents a quick context of the customer's sentiment. 

    2. Reviews List - A list of all previous reviews by the customer, including the rating, content of the review, and the date it was written. 

  1. To view a specific review in detail or to respond to it, click on the review in the list. This will open the reviews page in a new tab.

By integrating the app into your Freshchat inbox, you can provide a more personalized and efficient support experience for your customers. Agents will have easy access to crucial customer feedback, allowing them to better understand and address their needs.
