Judge.me is a powerful product review application explicitly designed for e-commerce stores. This application helps e-commerce store owners collect user reviews and star ratings for their products, which can significantly improve their conversion rates, organic traffic, and buyer engagement. By leveraging social proof from reviews and other user-generated content like photos and videos, e-commerce stores can enhance their credibility and attract more customers.

  • Once the event is sent, any changes in the product information (e.g., product name, product image) won’t reflect in the event.

  • You should subscribe to the Judge.me plan that supports webhook registration. You need to be on the Judge.me Awesome plan (https://judge.me/compare) for this integration.

How to use customer reviews to personalize the customer experience?

With the Freshmarketer & Judge.me integration, you can:

  • Enrich the content of your email campaigns with improved customer context
  • Improve campaign segmentation based on reviewer data, behavior, and attributes
  • Trigger customer journeys based on review scores

Some of the key use cases that you can solve with this integration are:

  • Sending review requests for your product(s) to your customers
  • Sending personalized follow-up messages to your customers based on the review

Let’s look at an example:

As a store owner, you want to segment customers who have given you a 1-star or a 2-star rating and understand what disrupted their experience with your product(s):

Here is how you can execute this with the Freshamarketer & Judge.me integration:

  • Go to Segments > Create Segment > Fill in the name for your segment

  • Click on add conditions, choose custom events, and choose the condition “Judgeme_ReviewCreated.”
  • Click on filter conditions, choose the product rating condition, and fill in the rating as 1 and 2 (You can choose the "Less than =" filter condition)
  • Once you execute these conditions and click on save segment, the new segment will be created

  • Go to Journeys > Create Journey > Fill in the journey name
  • Choose the trigger as “added to a segment” and choose the segment name
  • Choose the action as “Send Email” and choose the email from the list of email templates that you would have created, or you can create a new email that you want to send to the customer (e.g. The email could be on what the customer did not like about your product(s) and how you plan on improving their experience). The same step can be applied to other channels (WhatsApp, Chat, SMS, etc.)
  • Once they respond to your communication, you can exit them from the Journey

Note:

  • The event properties are available directly from the merge tag sections for SMS & WhatsApp campaigns. When you are setting up an email template, the event properties will not be available directly from the merge tag section. Below is an example of how you can include the event properties in an email template
    • Go to Marketing Emails > Journey Emails
  • Choose from any of the pre-defined templates or click on create from scratch
  • Once you choose your template, use the below tags to pull the product name and the rating of the product
    • {{event::Judgeme__ReviewCreated::Product Rating}} - To pull the rating
    • {{event::Judgeme__ReviewCreated::Product}} - To pull the product name

Note: There are two underscores in the above Judgeme tags.

  • Click on save and next

  • Fill in the sender name, subject, subscription type, and pre-header for your email

  • Ensure that you add the footer details for your email

  • After you save your footer details, click on the publish button

  • The email is now ready to be used as part of the marketing journey
