As an admin, you may need to customize the information on the deal card based on your organization’s sales requirements. Your web application allows the customization of a deal card based on an organization’s sales pipeline requirements.

Deal card customization

Users can choose to display specific information over the default information on the deal card eg, display the number of units of the product/ service instead of the default total deal revenue, the product/ service name, etc.

This feature ensures you have the right deal information to improve your productivity.

Default fields in the deal card are deal name, deal value, next renew, account name, and tags. You can switch between compact cards that display only field values, and expanded cards that display both field values and their labels.

Click Settings > Customize cards option in any of the card views of the Deals module.

To customize Deal Card via the Deals Module

  1. Open the Deals Module.

  2. Switch to the Pipeline view. The deals will be grouped by the Deal Stage field by default.

  3. Click Settings > Customize cards option to choose the fields you wish to see in the Kanban cards.

  4. This opens up the Customize cards pop-up where you have the option to show field labels on the cards.

  5. The Kanban card displays a list of deal fields. You can rearrange the order by dragging and dropping fields, or remove a field from the list by unchecking it.

  6. Additional deal fields are listed under the Hidden fields section. To include them in the Kanban card, select the checkbox next to the desired field to move it to the Visible fields in cards list.

Note:

You can select upto 6 fields to be displayed on your deal card.

You can also add products to the deal card

After customization, the Deal Card is displayed as depicted below,

Setting up Stagewise Summary Value

As an admin when you customize the Deal Card, you may also want to Set up the stagewise summary value for a deal stage based on a numeric value selected on the deal card. eg: If the number of products is displayed on the deal card, you also want to display the aggregate of products for each deal stage.

Users can set up stagewise summary values based on an organization’s sales requirements. Users who have access to administrator settings (account administrator/ administrator) can set up this customization. Admin users can choose to display the aggregate number of a numeric deal field on each deal stage over the default information. This feature ensures that the users access the right deal information to improve their productivity.

Note: Setting up Stage-wise summary value is a Pipeline level setting

To change the stagewise summary value to a field of choice

  1. Open Deals module, click the Gear icon, and select Summarize stages by option from the drop-down menu.

  2. This opens the pipeline admin settings page with the Edit Pipeline slider open.

  3. In ‘Summarize stage by’ select a field from the drop-down list of deal fields.

  4. Make sure to select a deal field of numeric type and click Save.

  5. The cumulative value of the selected field is displayed under the name of each deal stage in the deal Kanban view.

  6. For every deal stage, clicking on dropdown button next to the Forecasted revenue displays a list of all values such as Forecasted revenue, Total deal value, and Number of deals in that deal stage.

Note:

1.'Stage-wise Summary Value' is a numeric value and hence the selected field should be of the numeric type.

2.'Customize Card' and 'Set Stagewise Summary Value' are two seperate settings. Admin users may choose to customize only the Deal Card without setting up the Stagewise summary value and vice-versa.

Roles and Permissions

When the admin modifies field-level access for a role through deal permissions, the user/s belonging to that role will lose access to those fields. Consequently, the fields will not be visible on the deal card.

Downgrade scenario

In the case of plan downgrades, access to these features will be lost, and default fields will be restored.
